Solar Panel Maintenance

We strongly recommend a professional maintenance on small to medium sized systems at a minimum every 3 years. Larger systems (collector area >15m²) should be checked annually.

Failure to have a maintenance done could result in irreparable damage to some of the components and reduced system performance.

Clean Energy Ireland performs a 26 point maintenance check on all the system, including:

1. Collectors
2. Controller
3. Anti-freeze
4. Cylinder
5. Pump station
6. Expansion vessel
7. Pipe work
8. Solar insulation
9. Flashings
10. Roof fixtures

A refractometer scale for measuring the freezing point of the anti-freeze during maintenance.
